The Cowboy Grill, nestled along the stunning Utah-128 near Moab, offers a unique dining experience that artfully blends rustic charm with breathtaking canyon views. With an enticing menu featuring large plates, including braised bison short ribs and poulet roti, this restaurant excels in delivering flavor and quality. Guests have raved about the tender meat and well-seasoned sides like creamy mashed potatoes, though opinions on the mac and cheese have been mixed. The atmosphere is complemented by an outdoor dining option that allows guests to soak in the picturesque sunset, making it almost a restaurant in two parts—the food and the view. Patrons like LeWayne Ballard appreciated the excellent service and the memorable sunset, noting that while the food was good, the mesmerizing surroundings elevated the overall experience. Customer feedback emphasizes the enjoyment of dishes like the lamb chop and a delightful bread pudding, although some noted minor issues, like unwashed grilled vegetables. Nonetheless, the Cowboy Grill remains a must-visit for anyone seeking a meal that offers not only great taste but also a feast for the eyes. The friendly staff adds a warm touch to this vibrant dining spot, making it a perfect choice for a memorable dining experience in Moab.

I got the chicken, it was SO good, I want to make it at home. It was like a chicken tortilla soup without the soup. Bison NY Strip was good. Mac and cheese was either loved or hated. The bar area doesn’t require reservations!

Came out for an evening dinner to enjoy the sunset and view over a meal. The closest reservation I could get to sunset was 5:45p which I was originally disappointed, but actually worked out for the better since I was able to take sunset pictures immediately after my meal. I suspect they hold sunset timeslots for actual guests of the hotel. With the reservation, was immediately seated with my choice of outside or a window table inside. It wasn't too hot outside, but the waitress warned of flies when eating outside, so opted for the inside window table. I wasn't expecting much of the food as figured the restaurant was more about the view, but the food was surprisingly good. For appetizer, started off with the Sauteed Mushroom Buttons. These immediately came out upon ordered and were probably my least favorite of the foods. They tasted as had been sitting in a warming dish and that's why they were able to be delivered immediately upon ordering. For the meals, ordered the Lamb Chop, Ribeye Steak, and Slow Roast Prime Rib. The Lamb Chop was my favorite as it was very juicy and had a flavorful cream & mushroom sauce. The Prime Rib and Ribeye steaks were both good cuts of meat that were a good portion size and cooked just as ordered. The sides with the meals of baked potatoes and vegetables were just ok and typical side items. For the dessert, ordered the Apple Bread Pudding which was pretty good. The apples was a nice twist to bread pudding, but I wasn't a fan of the added raisins. Overall, this was a nice restaurant to enjoy the Canyon views. I would rate the views higher than the food, but the food was still good. Prices were a little high for the quality, but I factor in the price of the view too. Service was good and all the waitstaff were very friendly. This is a good place to have a nice meal and view.

I had low expectations based on recent reviews. We had an 8:30 dinner time, I had the bison short ribs, broccolini and a white sangria. It was excellent, flavors were spot on, meat tender, mashed potatoes creamy and seasoned and broccoli jus burnt enough for my taste. My husfdand had the chili and spring rolls (which he loved) and a local beer. Service was prompt and fast. There were a few flies but honestly it was Al fresco dinning, what do people expect?! Views were gorgeous. Just go.

We did not eat here just stopped by for the film museum. It was really nice, has a short video to tell story of how the film industry used the mountains in the area and all the movies filmed

Lovely dinner. View was amazing. Had the top sirloin, with a salad and Creme brule. Grilled broccoli was weird. I guess they didn't wash it. Gritty. Still giving it 5 stars.

After a stunning sunset at the Fisher Towers we enjoyed a perfect dinner. The prime rib, the spare ribs and the chicken were wonderful. Very nice and authentic interior. It is recommended to book a table in advance.

We had breakfast 3 times here since it was included with our stay! Best breakfast ever! So many choices of quality food. The cinnamon rolls, south west eggs, and bacon were our favorites. The coffee was very good as well. It would be nice if they had a sign out by the coffee stating where the beans came from though. Fresh fruit was amazing! Everything about this breakfast was amazing!
